In January of 2004, after spending 13 years in scouting with his son Ryan, Mannie Steglich decided he needed something to replace that “one hour per week”. Mannie decided to resurrect a hobby that had been long ignored, woodwooking, and in the Fall of 2004  Wooden Wonders was established to showcase his woodworking skills. Concentrating on a variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods, Mannie turns wood into items that are a delight to hold and use every day.

Beautiful heirloom quality pens that make excellent gifts or to keep for yourself are a specialty. Each item is unique, owing to the natural internal beauty of wood.

Mannie is a member of the InternationalAssociation of Pen Turners. He also custom built his home and workshop in Pearland, Texas.
